We are currently reviewing the consultation feedback provided in late 2021 and will be developing concept plans shortly for further feedback.

Project Overview

We are preparing to rehabilitate the roadway in Thirteen Street and Market Place in Bowden, from Drayton Street to Hawker Street (near the railway crossing).

As part of the proposed works we are looking to install new street trees and a widened path to improve safety and amenity for people on foot and on bicycles. Prior to designing concept plans we would like to understand your views on some of the elements in the street, including the garden bed in Market Place. To hear your thoughts and ideas, we would like to invite you to come along to a Community Street Meeting.

Community Street Meeting

When: Tuesday 14 December 2021

Where: Meet on Market Place (near garden bed)

Time: 5pm to 6pm

Given this is an outdoor event, the wearing of masks is not mandatory however you are welcome to wear a mask should you choose to do so. Please RSVP your attendance to Kath Mardon by emailing eng-consultation@charlessturt.sa.gov.au or call 8408 1270.

Unable to attend the Meeting?

If you are unable to attend the street meeting, we ask that you complete the very short survey below to provide your initial thoughts by Monday 20 December.

A concept plan will then be presented to the community for further feedback in February 2022.
