Management Plans for community lands within the City of Charles Sturt

As part of Council’s ongoing commitment to provide high quality, diverse open space areas and facilities that enhance the quality of life for all residents and visitors, while strengthening biodiversity and sustainability, a review of the management plans that guide Council to achieve these outcomes has been undertaken.

A group of new and amended Community Land Management Plans displayed here have been drafted to provide a more individual and specific set of management directions catering entirely to the individual reserve, its purposes, environment and uses.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 197 of the Local Government Act 1999, and in accordance with Council’s public consultation policy, that the Council has prepared proposed new and amended Community Land Management Plans for 22 various parks, reserves and community lands owned by Council and located within the Council area.

Draft plans shown here represent a small portion of community lands owned and managed by Council. Management plans will be prepared for the remaining community lands held by Council in the coming year and these plans will be presented to the community for feedback at that time.
