A report is now available to view about the proposed New Playground in Woodville Oval. The report follows engagement with the community in November/December 2025 seeking sentiment on a new playground and what the community would like to see in the space.

This report will be presented to the Strategic and Engagement Committee meeting on Monday, 16 February 2026.

That the Committee recommends to the Council:

1. That Council notes the outcomes of community consultation undertaken for the proposed Woodville Oval Playground, as outlined in this report, with further detail provided in Appendix 1 and Appendix 2.

2. That Council endorses the proposed concept design for the Woodville Oval Playground, as included in Appendix 3, for the purpose of progressing to detailed design in 2025/26.

3. That Council includes a budget bid through the 2026/27 Annual Business Plan process to allocate $350,000 for the construction of the Woodville Oval Playground.
