We are responding to community requests to construct a new footpath in Michael Street, Grange. A new path would connect to other existing paths, making it safer for pedestrians and easier access for those who may require a mobility device.
Council Officers have inspected the street and determined that a 1.5-metre-wide, concrete footpath be proposed on the eastern side of Michael Street from Grange Road to Matthew Street.
The City of Charles Sturt would like to acknowledge the land we occupy today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the greater Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.
