A report is now available to view about the proposed dog park in Gordon Reserve, Albert Park. The report follows engagement with the community in November/December 2025 seeking sentiment on a new dog park and what the community would like to see in the space.

This report will be presented to the Strategic and Engagement Committee meeting on Monday, 16 February 2026.

That the Committee recommends to the Council:

1. That Council notes the outcomes of community engagement undertaken for the Gordon Reserve Dog Park, as outlined in this report and Appendix A and Appendix B, and acknowledges that funding for the project has previously been endorsed by Council.

2. That Council endorses the proposed concept design for the Gordon Reserve Dog Park, as detailed in Appendix C, for the purpose of progressing to detailed design and construction.
