Past Workshops

Workshops were held in October and November 2022 to discuss community-led action. The Business Workshop was unfortunately cancelled due to low attendance and instead we converted this engagement activity into a survey of local businesses.

  • Towards a Low Emissions City - Community Workshop

    Tuesday 25 October 2022, 6pm-8pm, City of Charles Sturt Civic Centre, 72 Woodville Road, Woodville.

    We encourage residents and community groups within the City of Charles Sturt to attend this workshop which will explore:

    • The city’s community emissions profile
    • Emission reduction opportunities, grants and resources
    • Presentations from local community groups on their sustainability journey
    • Council actions and how community can support and drive action
    • Identify emission reduction actions and set a target

  • 12-25 Years? Let's Talk Climate Change

    Monday 7 November 2022, 5.30pm to 7.30pm, The Brocas Youth Space, 111 Woodville Road. Woodville

    What is happening? What needs to be done? What are you doing? What are we doing? What can we do together?

    All young people aged 12 to 25 years are welcome.
