Thank you for participating in the Stroud Street Masterplan consultation

This stage of consultation regarding potential improvements to Stroud Street has now closed, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to participate and share their views.

The 3 concept options presented generated significant discussion within the community. We appreciate the thoughtful feedback received. We are currently reviewing all feedback provided through the consultation process.

Community petition

A community petition relating to the project has also been received. The petition will be formally presented and received at the Council meeting on 13 July 2026.

What we heard

Feedback received to date shows a range of views. We understand that some residents support some improvements to Stroud Street, while concerns have been shared about on-street parking, property access, the character of the street and other local considerations.

Next steps

Once the feedback has been fully reviewed, we will return to the community with a further round of engagement. This will provide residents with an opportunity to consider revised options and continue to help shape a preferred design for Stroud Street.
