As part of our commitment to providing safe, accessible and enjoyable open spaces for the community, the City of Charles Sturt is seeking your feedback on a proposed dog park at Semaphore Park Reserve, located on the corner of Military Road and Edwin Street, Semaphore Park (see resource documents for map details).

An on-site information session will also be held at Semaphore Park Reserve , on Wednesday 11 September, 2019 4.30pm to 5.30pm, where you can discuss your views with council staff.

The first step is to understand the level of support from local residents to create a dog park at Frank Mitchell Park. Following this consultation and Council approval, designs will be developed to enable consideration of funding for construction in Council’s 2020/21 budget, which will be dependent on the expected cost and greater benefit for community. Further community engagement is planned once draft concept designs have been developed.

Please refer to the FAQ's for further details relating to this proposal, consultation will close 5pm Friday 27 September, 2019.
