Update - Consultation outcomes and report to Council

11 November 2022

Thank you for contributing your feedback to the new playground proposal for Montgomery Reserve, Flinders Park.

Due to the timing of the Local Government elections and the limited responsibilities of our elected members during Caretaker period, the November Asset Management Services Committee meeting was cancelled. While we were intending to defer the report and present it direct to the Council meeting of 12 December 2022, non-urgent business is being held over to the first meeting of Council in January 2023 to allow the new councillors to complete their inductions and deal with urgent Council business for the last meeting of 2022 (12 December). Therefore, the report to Council on the consultation outcomes and seeking a resolution on the proposed new playground proposal is being held over to the first Asset Management Committee (AMC) meeting of 2023, on 20 February.

The outcomes of this community consultation, including who we heard from and what we heard, will be included in this report as an Appendix.

If you made a submission, you will receive notification when this report is released, including a link to the AMC agenda and the opportunity to make a deputation to the Council, should you wish. We will also keep this page updated, so if you didn't make a submission but are keen to stay informed about the outcome of the proposal, you can check back here on the project page or, alternatively, hit the 'Follow' button under the project title in the banner to be alerted of future, project updates. This page will be updated following Council endorsement of the AMC decision and consultation outcomes at the end of February 2023.
