Project Update
Thank you to everyone who contributed feedback for our playground draft concept plan and visited us at the on-site sessions.
Our Urban Design Team are now reviewing all the feedback received to design the final plan for the playground. This also includes finalising equipment availability, costings and construction timeframes.
We will be in touch again once all the details are confirmed and provide you with the final plan and construction details.
About the Playground Renewals
We will be renewing 7 playgrounds throughout the City of Charles Sturt for the 2021-2022 financial year.
The Urban Design Team has created draft concept plans for for each of the playgrounds and we want to hear your thoughts on the plans and what is important to you in this community space.
The playgrounds being renewed are:
- Collins Reserve, Kidman Park
- Devonshire Reserve, Fulham Gardens
- Henley & Grange Memorial Oval, Henley Beach
- John Keeley Reserve, Flinders Park
- McMahon Reserve, Seaton
- Pedlar Reserve Outer, Seaton
- Smith Reserve, Woodville West
The Playground Renewal Program is for the playground structure and play space only, it does not include any other infrastructure eg: shade structures, toilets, BBQ, new fencing, turf or irrigation.
Playground Consultation
You can let us know your thoughts on the draft concept plans for each playground by completing the survey. We will alse be on-site at each playground to give staff the opportunity to chat with you about your playground and options for the concept plan.
Consultation commences Monday 15 March 2021 and closes 5:00pm Friday 2 April 2021.
