What's happening at Lines Reserve?

Local residents submitted a petition with 149 signatures asking us to improve Lines Reserve, and we heard you! Now we want to work with you to make sure we get it right.

We want to ensure these improvements are what you really want and need. Based on the petition, we've come up with some suggestions and would love your input on the different elements:

⚽ Junior soccer training goals

🏏Junior cricket pitch

🏀 Repairs to the basketball court and netball goals

🌳 New planting

🪵 Logs and features to support local wildlife

🗑️Additional rubbish bin

🚶 A walking paths

Your input will shape the final design and help us prioritise improvements over the next few years.

In 2026/27 we aim to:

• Provide habitat logs and informal seating using suitable material from Council's tree management programs
• Resurface the basketball court with acrylic paint
• Investigate and confirm, location, and costs for future reserve improvements
• Continue existing maintenance and operational programs in line with Council service levels

Following this consultation, we will seek Council approval and funding for further improvements.
