In late November 2021 we invited local residents and businesses within the precinct to our community consultation drop-in session for Holden Street, Hindmarsh. This session allowed us to understand any issues and opportunities for the street from residents and businesses.

We have now consolidated the feedback provided, and our new concept design aims to facilitate the following:

• Improving the overall streetscape amenity
• Creating a lower speed environment
• Improving pedestrian access to the stadium and precinct with wider footpaths
• Creating a bicycle friendly environment
• Improving the landscaping and promoting urban greening
• Accommodating the access requirements for heavy vehicles

The attached concept plan depicts two options for consideration, we would love to hear your views on the revised draft concept plan and are asking for feedback on the local communities preferred option for how we create a safer road environment for all road users.

• Option 1 – Reconstructed Holden Street with a raised intersection treatment at the intersection of Susan and Holden Street
• Option 2 - Reconstructed Holden Street with a street print intersection treatment at the intersection of Susan and Holden Street
