What is the Coast Park?

Coast Park is a State Government initiative incorporating a shared pedestrian and bicycle path, which, when finished will extend along the metropolitan coastline from North Haven to Sellicks Beach.

To date The City of Charles Sturt has completed several sections of the path, including; Bower Road to Recreation Parade, Terminus Street to Grange Road, Marlborough Street to Henley Beach Road, and from the River Torrens outlet to the Council boundary at West Beach.

How will my feedback be used?

A community feedback report will be developed that summarises community views gathered within this consultation project.

The report will be considered by Elected Members at Council on the 24 September.  Community members are welcome at the meeting should you wish to listen to Councils deliberations. 

Are there other roads along the Charles Sturt coast that are one way?

There are 3 existing sections of one way road along the Charles Sturt coast:

  • 1.2 Km - Seaview Road (Moredun Street to Fort Street), Tennyson
  • 0.65 Km - Esplanade (Grange Jetty to Grange Road), Grange
  • 0.65 Km - Esplanade (Marlborough Street to Henley Square), Henley Beach
