Background

The Outer Harbour Greenway is an important shared use path connecting Port Adelaide and the City.

Community feedback has identified a number of safety concerns at the Day Terrace off-ramp, including:

  • A steep transition between the off-ramp and Day Terrace
  • An abrupt change in level from the path to the road and
  • Limited visibility for people travelling down the ramp

These issues can make it difficult for users to safely enter and exit the Greenway.

Proposed Improvements and Concept Plan

We are working with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) and have developed improvements that create a safer connection between the Greenway and Day Terrace.
