SAJC Social Effect Inquiry

Consultation has concluded

The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) currently has an application lodged for a gaming machine licence at their proposed gaming venue, located at 615 Cheltenham Parade, St Clair. A part of the application process includes a Social Effect Inquiry (Inquiry) and public consultation opportunity that the SAJC is currently undertaking.

As per the South Australian Gaming Machines Act, the SAJC’s Inquiry is the first step in the process of obtaining a gaming machine licence. The Inquiry provides an opportunity for citizens and the Council to provide a submission on the proposal for a gaming machine licence, with particular regard to the social impact of the proposal.
