Have your say on the future of the ‘Industry Zones’ in the City of Charles Sturt

Investigations to review the City’s industry Development Plan policy are in the early stages, which will involve a review of the City’s Development Plan policies that relate to the Industry Zone. This process is known as a Development Plan Amendment (DPA).

The City of Charles Sturt has 9 Prime Industrial Precincts (Click here to view them on a map), which are considered as strategic industrial areas for the City, as they contribute to the local economy. Previous Studies have highlighted the need to protect these Prime Industrial Precincts from rezoninig and encroachment of residential housing.

Councils 9 Prime Industrial Precincts include:

  • – Arndale
  • – Athol Park
  • – Beverley
  • – Hendon
  • – Hindmarsh
  • – Port Road/South Road
  • – Royal Park
  • – West Croydon/Kilkenny
  • – Woodville North
