Help shape the future of Coast Park

*Consultation is now closed*

Coast Park is a State Government initiative which will extend along the metropolitan coastline from North Haven to Sellicks Beach. The final section of Coast Park to be designed in the City of Charles Sturt is the 4.8km section running from Grange to Semaphore Park.

With numerous spatial and environmental considerations, the project has experienced high levels of community interest. The Coast Park Project Reference Group was formed in December 2013 to collaboratively progress the project.

The Coast Park Grange to Semaphore Park Planning Study and Reference Group Feedback Report provides a collective summary of six months of work between the Reference Group, design consultants and Council. They provide detailed information on design precedents and principles, site conditions and constraints the Reference Group’s recommended preferred path alignment and alternate options.

Thank you for your question. Local community members hold a range of views on the project. Following the close of this community engagement project we will be in a much better place to answer your question.
