    The next Council meeting will be held on Monday 23 February, 7pm in the Civic Centre Council Chambers, 72 Woodville Rd.

    Petitions will be received on:

    • Bridge from Barrpowell St Welland to Jervios St
    • Noise levels from Metcash

    Some of the business items being considered at the meeting are:

    • Coast Park – Grange to Semaphore Park
    • Community Land Management Plans – Coastal Land
    • Proposed new dog registration fees
    • St Clair Recreation Centre ceiling repair
    • Innovation challenge – outdoor dining

  • Transforming Health - State Government Consultation

    SA Health are currently consulting with communities on the South Australian Healthcare system.

    A paper, 'Delivering Transforming Health', was recently released which provides information on proposed changes to the South Australian healthcare system. SA Health are currently seeking feedback on this paper.

    Come to the public meeting!

    The South Australian Jockey Club is conducting a social effect inquiry for the proposed relocation of the gaming venue which until recently was situated in the Cheltenham Park grandstand. With the grandstand now demolished it is proposed to relocate the gaming venue to new premises to be built at the corner of Cheltenham Parade and St Clair Avenue, St Clair.

    The South Australian Jockey Club is holding a public meeting on Monday, 19th January 2015 at the Eagles Function Centre, Oval Avenue, Woodville South commencing at 7:00pm. Everyone with an interest in the SAJC proposal is encouraged to attend this public meeting. Light refreshments will be provided.

    The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) currently has an application lodged for a gaming machine licence at their proposed gaming venue, located at 615 Cheltenham Parade, St Clair.  

    The application process includes a Social Effect Inquiry and public consultation opportunity that the SAJC is currently undertaking.
